Dr. Duffy is one of a few select doctors in the Orlando area who is recognized by Snap-on-Smile. This product is a custom-made mouthpiece which changes many aspects of someone’s natural dental condition. Things such as shape, color, alignment, and even missing teeth can be fixed with this product. Several impressions are taken and sent to the lab, which then with orders from the doctor, fabricates an overlay (so to speak) that can be directly placed over the natural teeth without any aggressive preparation. It essentially snaps on the existing teeth and can removed for cleaning by the patient when necessary and or instructed to do so by the doctor.
Any decay, periodontal disease, or infection MUST be eliminated prior to fabrication. A very feasible option when compared to full mouth crown and bridge and or implants. It does take the lab approximately 2-3 weeks to fabricate; but what a quick fix for that upcoming reunion, wedding, family reunion etc.
